I teach and train Kickboxing and Kenpo, both for different results, but out of the same reason; a passion for combat sports and martial arts.
The way I have decided to train my students is in some ways a reflection of my past experiences as a martial artist, and that is providing you with as many tools for you to attain your goal, may it be simple fitness, competing as a kickboxer or simply the desire to know that what ever the world might throw to you in the means of a threatening situation in the street, that you will have acquired what you will need to see it through and arise victorious.
I firmly believe that there are no "ultimate fighting methods" or "techniques", simply a varying amount of levels of skill, and consequently I have little patience for people afflicted with "holier than thou" attitudes. We are all forever students in martial arts, and in that we should allow ourselves to remain humble and simply enjoy the fact that we can be sharing an interest and a passion, and learn from each other.
There are few things that I find as rewarding as knowing that we are providing the grounds for people to obtain the tools to feel more secure and confident in them selves, or seeing a student managing to comprehend and internalize a new concept, marking his or her progress along the road they have chosen.
